All residents are required to purchase one of the following meal plans: A, B, C, D.
*Residents have the ability to use these bonus dollars at any Dining Service venues (DDC, Cafe, & on-campus vending machines) throughout the semester. Unused Bonus dollars do not carry over into subsequent semesters.

How do these resident meal plans work?
These Meal Plans are designed to allow Residents to choose which Meal Plan will best fit their lifestyle and their budget. Each Meal Plan includes a guaranteed number of meals per week (Sunday – Saturday) and a specified number of Guest Passes per semester. Meal Plans A, B, C and D also include a set amount of Bonus Dollars for use throughout the semester.
As a resident, must I get a meal plan enhancement/upgrade?
No, residents are required to choose one of the four meal plans (A, B, C, or D), but meal plan enhancements/upgrades are optional.
Do unused Guest Passes or Bonus Dollars carry over to the next semester?
No, unused Guest Passes and Bonus Dollars will not carry over into the next Semester.
Where can I use my Bonus Dollars?
What do I do if I must miss a meal because of my schedule?
To reduce the possibility of missed meals and to assist residents with unique schedules, we have designed our meal times around the current class schedules. Meal Plans A, B, C and D include Bonus Dollars which can be used at the Café and in DDC.
Dining Services also offers a Convenience Meal Program for Residents whose coursework requires them to participate in off campus internships, classes, and similar activities such as the Nursing Program and Student Teaching. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
How and where do I use my Guest Passes?
Guest Passes can be used in Donovan Dining Center similar to how meals are used. Guest passes do not carry over from semester to semester.
What do I do if I go over the dollar limit when purchasing a meal or using a guest pass?
You may pay the difference using your Bonus Dollars, cash or credit.
How can I purchase additional Bonus Dollars or a meal plan enhancement/upgrade?
If I do not use a meal, will it carry over to the next week?
Unused meals do not carry over to the next week. At the beginning of each week your meal balance is reset.
Where can I use my meals?
All meals must be used in the Donovan Dining Center. A variety of menu items are available during the times listed for each meal period.
When can the meal plan be used?
See the academic calendar for days when the dining center is open.
Are accomodations available for special dietary needs?
Yes. We do assist Residents with special dietary needs. We provide gluten free and meatless options on a daily basis at all locations. We also support a number of Residents who are in need of special diets for medical reasons.
Dining Services also offers dietary, nutritional, and related consultations with our Resident Dietitian, Bethany Tucker,R.D., LDN (401) 456-8477 free of charge.
Additional Value for Resident Students
Throughout each semester Dining Services offers a number of Special Themed Dinners. There is no additional charges for Residents to attend these dinners. Special Themed Dinners will be advertised in advance so all residents will know about them.
